Congratulations to Dr Sonia Shah for winning the Women in Technology “Rising Star Award”

Dr Shah is a woman on a mission to understand the causes of human disease by analysing our genetic data. Notably, her research has focused on understanding the link between cardiovascular disease and brain-related disorders. She is also the 2020 winner of the Genetics Society of Australasia Alan Wilton award recognising outstanding contributions to the field of genetic research from an early career researcher.
