SAGHA Focus Groups - Expression of Interest

Take part in a study to increase representation of South Asian Queenslanders in health and genomics research!

This expression of interest form is for the focus group phase of the South Asian Genes and Health in Australia study.

What is involved?

The University of Queensland is looking for members of the Queensland South Asian community to take part in discussions about their thoughts on genetics research and how DNA affects heart health. We will use the information to develop culturally appropriate guidelines for genetics research with South Asians living in Australia. Focus groups will be between 1.5 – 2 hours long.

Remuneration:

As a small token of our appreciation for participating you will receive a $30 gift voucher. We will also provide light refreshments during the focus groups.

Who can take part in focus group discussions?

We are looking for Queensland South Asian community members over the age of 18 years who have the following heritages: Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, or Bangladeshi.
